Join us for some time of rest with the Beloved as we spend the weekend in prayer, silence, reflection, fellowship, adoration, Mass, and confession. This year, we’ll explore the theme of “friendship” as seen in the life of prayer and in the saintly male/female duos of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her spiritual brother Fr. Maurice Belliere, St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross, and St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane Frances de Chantel. Talks will be given by author and speaker Julia Monnin, Fr. Jedidiah Tritle, and Fr. Sean Wilson. Mass will be celebrated Friday by Fr. Jedidiah Tritle and Saturday by Fr. Sean Wilson. Confessors joining us this year are Fr. Sean Wilson, Fr. Alexander Witt, and Fr. Ethan Hoying. Space is limited to 50 retreatants.

In Losing Matthew: A Journey through Grief and Finding God's Abiding Grace, Nancy shares with readers the journey she had with bringing Matthew into the world and parting with him as he entered the next on the very same day. Physically Nancy’s body healed through the trauma of his birth and immediate death, but healing mentally through the loss was much more of a challenge. Pilgrimage to France
"This past Fall, Journeys Revealed Ministries (through St. Charles Pilgrimages) hosted [quite literally] a coast-to-coast, 12-day pilgrimage across France, the 'eldest daughter of the Church.' During our 3500 kilometer frolic through the old world, our pilgrims had the opportunity to pray and celebrate Mass at the tombs of some of the Church’s most revered Saints such as Ss. Martin of Tours, Francis de Sales, Jane de Chantal, and John Vianney. We venerated the relics of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity in Dijon (and had great mustard), and we visited the revered burial ground of the Carmelite Martyrs of Compiegne in Paris’s Picpus Cemetery. That’s just to name a few…
Certainly, one of the highlights was the opportunity to celebrate the October 1st feast day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux right in the heart of Lisieux. We visited her childhood homes in Alençon and Lisieux, the Carmel where she spent her religious life (where she wrote Story of a Soul), and the Basilica where her relics (and relics of her siblings and parents) were displayed for veneration. The pilgrimage concluded just outside of Marseilles, where a brave band made the trek up to the cave and grotto of St. Mary Magdalene where, according to ancient tradition, she spent her latter years in prayer and solitude. We thank those who made this pilgrimage possible through their attendance, as well as those who spiritually joined us through your prayers and support." - Fr. Jedidiah Tritle

Our pilgrimage with Silver Cross Catholic Store and Holy Face of Jesus Parish on November 3 to Cincinnati was a beautiful one. Fr. Andrew Reckers joined us and 43 pilgrims (including 6 young boys) as we toured the Cathedral Basilica where the priests in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are ordained and the seminary where they are formed. This is the third year we've been blessed with the opportunity to host this pilgrimage. It's quickly becoming one of our favorite annual offerings!
